Gamers are ecstatic over the release of  the new video game, Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3.

And not just for the spectacular computer graphics it has to offer.

Blond babes Gemma Atkinson and  Jenny McCarthy have been signed up to appear in video sequences for the new EA game.

Gemma will be playing the role of Lt Eva McKenna, a communications officer for the Allies that EA describes as having a ‘sexy twinkle in her eye and a British stiff upper lip.’

Gemma said: ‘I’m a gamer and the chance to act in one of the best loved video games was an opportunity I was really keen to explore – especially as Eva is such a strong female character.

‘The worlds of gaming and film are getting ever closer and as an actress I wanted to explore this exciting new area of drama, broaden my acting skills and continue the active, outgoing side of my personality that I showed in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ Quite.

Gemma Atkinson was excited to land the role of Peter Pan – and is learning to ‘fly’ for it.

Atkinson has been working so hard on her flying lessons that many people actually mistook her for a UFO.

She’s been working very long hours rehearsing for Peter Pan and has the added pressure of learning how to fly, the Daily Star quoted a pal, as saying.

The panto is based in Manchester but she’s having flying lessons down in London, so she has been completely exhausted by the end of each working day. I think there was a bit of a shock when some people saw her flying around at the place where she practiced, the pal added.

Atkinson has put her wedding to fiance, Marcus Bent on hold for the time being due to work.

She was absolutely thrilled when Marcus asked her to marry him but she’s had absolutely no time to start planning the wedding, the pal said.

She’s got some time off over Christmas, which she intends to spend with her family. She’ll obviously see Marcus too, so I’m sure that they’ll start talking about their plans then, the pal added.
